Prêt-à-Yoga is a uniquely crafted yoga experience designed to enlighten you and guide you through the discipline of yoga. Your personal guru, Kathleen Kastner, a trained yoga instructor and exercise physiologist, will guide you through each sequence, pose by pose, breath by breath, explaining how to practice the art of yoga.

This exquisite application offers an unparalleled experience with sequences meticulously designed by Kathleen and beautiful music arranged by Cerebral Songs to enhance your practice.

Prêt-à-Yoga includes the following four stages:

- Pranayama

- Sun Salutation A

- Sun Salutation B

- Beginner's Sequence

As you make your journey, you will find that it is best to start off slow and deliberate, discovering along the way the beauty and joy that is yoga.

Tips:

★ Tap the "i" button for inspiration and guidance on using Prêt-à-Yoga.

★ Consider switching off Wi-Fi (set to Airplane mode on the iPhone), so your mind is free of interruptions and completely focused while using Prêt-à-Yoga.

★ As you gain experience, consider increasing the number of repetitions for Sun Salutation. Once you master A, move on to B.

★ Warm up before the main sequence by doing a Pranayama exercise followed by Sun Salutation A or B.

★ To listen to your own music while using Prêt-à-Yoga, follow these simple steps:

● Launch "iPod" and play your favorite song(s). Hit the home button.

● Launch Prêt-à-Yoga and tap the "Heart" button.

● Set "Play Mode" to Auto and choose desired Transition Cue.

● The "Vibrate" option works well with arm band use.

★ Under Settings>General, set Auto-Lock option to Never

★ Finally, do not let the number of poses or unfamiliar names intimidate you! You'll be a yogi/yogini before you know it.

Finally an yoga class "to go"!

I finally found an app that simulates the yoga class experience - but at my convenience and so much cheaper. Technically correct and good visuals. Great music and oral instructions so I can focus on positioning and breathing. It's worth the extra cash!

room for improvement

this is a high quality yoga app that could get better with a few tweaks. it's better than yoga stretch but may not be worth $10 yet.

- the interface. it's pretty, but what do the various icons mean? it's not at all clear even after you click on them. turns out that the flower icon leads to breathing exercises, the sun button is for sun salutation exercises and the yoga pose icon is the main sequence and the heart icon is options. i had to click on Pret-a-Yoga secrets which launches Safari which goes to their website to find this out. this stuff shouldn't be a secret!

- breathing exercises- again, looks pretty, but nothing happpens after you first launch this section. you have to press the icons in the lower right for something to happen. the audio narration, while nice and clear, sounds a little clinical, like someone reading a script. not particularly soothing or relaxing. maybe if there were an optional background music track, it would be better, like a guided meditation.

- sun salutation- very good. nice photos of the various poses. the narration and photos audio advance automatically so you can focus on the actual moves. clicking on a photo will show the pose from a different angle. an excellent feature. unlike the breathing exercises, there's some background music. separating the music from the narration would be better. first it would give you the option to turn off the music. second, when you set it to repeat the sun salutation sequence 3 or 5 times, the music could play continuously instead of repeating that same snippet of music over and over again.

- main sequence. the ability to separate the music from the narration would be nice. at one point, there's someone laughing in the music track in the background, which is a little strange and distracting. being able to pause the sequence is good. adding the ability to skip forward or rewind the audio narration would be even better.

- the transition cues could be refined. the low tone is a little short and abrupt while the high tone is a little too high.

Some possible feature ideas:
- ability to create own sequence
- viewable index of yoga poses
- optional countdown timer to show how much time left for each sequence. especially helpful in auto mode when the narration is off.
- ability to play own music while still listening to the narration.

Extremely pleased! what a great app. The poses flowed through naturally giving me a great workout. I'd recomend this to anyone looking for a quality yoga experience
